LIVE PUZZLING in partnership with WABJ
Juliana Pache is joining us on the Busboys stage to talk about the journey of Black Crossword and present a live puzzling session. Copies of her crossword books will be available for purchase during and after the event, and Pache will be signing following the program.
This event has a $5 entrance fee. Tickets are free for Washington Association of Black Journalists members only. We will be checking registrations at the door.
Our program begins at 6:00 pm, and will include an audience Q&A. Copies of the first and second editions of BLACK CROSSWORD will be available for purchase after the event. Please note that this event is in person and will not be livestreamed.

LIVE PUZZLING
Participants will be given blank mini crossword puzzles and Juliana will read out clues. Everyone will be given ten seconds per clue to come up with the correct answer on their sheet. First to solve each puzzle wins. Participants will then complete word searches, and a round of trivia determines the final winner. Prizes include free drinks from the bar (and more).
