How do i ACCESS the keyboard?
The keyboard should show up automatically, but in some cases, you will have you select the puzzle you wish to solve, then select “More” in the top right corner of the player. From there, select “Toggle Keyboard” and a keyboard will appear.
Why aren’t my previous completions showing up?
If you are using a different browser or device, your completions will not transfer. If you have cleared your cache or history, this could also remove your Black Crossword data. We use Crosshare to host our puzzles, and you can make an account on their website to help ensure your progress is saved.
I See an error, where can I report it?
If you see an error or inaccuracy, please contact us so we can correct it. Thank you for making us better!
HOW DO I KNOW I’VE SOLVED A PUZZLE CORRECTLY?
When you complete the puzzle, the Crosshare tool will automatically tell you whether or not you’ve solved it correctly. If you’d like an aid during solving, you can click “Check” in the top right and select “Autocheck.”
The Ads are interrupting my solving, how do i fix it?
If the ads are covering the puzzle tool and are preventing you from solving, please contact us. We use an ad service that places ads across the website, and occasionally a format may be glitchy. Broken ad reports are handled swiftly.
